SPECIAL ADDITION: University of Michigan’s College of Literature Science and Art. (The TB2H Online Information Sessions are designed for students, staff, and faculty to learn more about the Transfer Bridges program and the transfer process to the College of LSA.)
Dear Muskegon Community Colleges students,
My name is Justin and I am the Senior Transfer Recruitment Coordinator with the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) at the University of Michigan. Are you interested in learning more about the transfer process to LSA? Or how your Associate degree connects with LSA general degree requirements, as well as your major of interest? Would you like help through the transfer process such as developing your academic plan, maximizing your transfer credits while completing your Associate degree, and applying to LSA as a transfer student? If so, please consider attending a Transfer Bridges Online Information Session to learn more about the Transfer Bridges program, or stop by the information table in the Main Building lobby to have your transfer questions answered.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please email me at javil@umich.edu or set up a Zoom appointment to discuss your transfer pathway and have your questions.
Effective Fall 2014, the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) has replaced the MACRAO Transfer Agreement.
This agreement provides transferability of 30 semester credits to meet many (and in some cases all) of the general education requirements at participating Michigan colleges and universities.

MiTransfer & MiWorkforce Pathways
For a smooth transfer to a four-year institution, students should consult with a counselor/advisor at MCC (Schedule an Appointment) and the receiving institution. Use these guides to help plan your transfer pathway:
The MiTransfer Pathways agreements are multi-institutional articulation agreements that allow students to complete associate and bachelor’s degrees at participating institutions across the state of Michigan.
MiWorkforce Pathways provide guidance about transfer agreements between applied workforce degrees at community colleges and bachelor’s degree completion programs at Michigan’s public and independent colleges and universities.
