What Our Students Are Saying

MCC GRADUATE Sheila Billips
“For anyone wondering if it’s too late to start something new, to follow a dream, or to return to school—let me be your reminder: it’s never too late. MCC didn’t just give me knowledge; it gave me the confidence to step into a new chapter of life. It brought out fulfilling my lifelong dream of a career in the Medical Field.”
MCC STUDENT Christian “Fletch” Fletcher
“I’ve found my family here at MCC. If it weren’t for MCC’s mental health resources, I might still be in a cold basement, sleeping on an air mattress, watching bootleg DVDs on a broken TV. And here I am—pursuing my associate’s degree in Health Science to become a nurse. Thank you MCC—not only for giving me a second chance to build my adult life, but for helping me to bring out my very best self.”
MCC GRADUATE TOM BITSON
“I have never known a faculty as strong as the faculty here at MCC. 34-years ago I was a senior in high school, and last May I got to walk across the stage and shake Dr. Selmon’s hand. Thanks to Muskegon Community College, I’m in a career now where I am empowering others to bring it out as well.”
Student Life
Life at MCCMCC is a dynamic campus with lots to do! Student Life programs develop leadership skills, values, friendships and create the opportunity to make a difference. Join student government or a student club, attend an event, work out in our Health and Wellness Center, and cheer on our athletes.
