If you would like to attend MCC, you will need to complete an admissions application. Please see the admissions checklist to ensure you are completing all steps. Classes begin at three points in the year:

  • Fall Semester (August)
  • Winter Semester (January)
  • Summer Semester (May)

(Please be aware that some classes on campus, such as Continuing Education do not necessarily begin with the regular starting date of each semester.)

If you have attended Muskegon Community College in the past and you would like to return to complete classes to earn a degree and/or certification please complete the application as a returning student.

We are so excited you have decided to apply to be a part of our Early College Program here at Muskegon Community College. In order to make sure you start on the right foot in your college experience, our Early College mentors have created a special orientation & welcome just for you.  You will receive a notification about this as you near the start of the Fall semester.  For more information about the Early College program in your county, click the button below.

Get your Digital Student ID Today — It’s as easy as ID123!
As an MCC student, you are required to have a Student ID.
ID123 is an app for Android and iPhones that can be downloaded for FREE!

Just follow these steps:

1. After registering for classes, be on the lookout for an instructional email from ID123.
2. Download ID123
3. If you registered and have not received the email from ID123, please stop at the Welcome Center to have the email re-sent.
4. If you need assistance in person please stop at the Welcome Center. A staff member will be happy to help!
