Why computer-Aided design technology?

Computer-aided design (CAD) offers the opportunity to improve the design of existing products, design new products, design fixtures or machinery to improve processes and then see those innovative ideas brought to life. Also the CAD field is continually evolving with advancements in technology, such as 3D printing and virtual reality, which offer new and exciting ways to apply CAD skills.

West Michigan is a good place for a CAD career. It is home to a solid manufacturing industry in fields ranging from automotive, furniture, aerospace, and beyond, making CAD skills highly sought after in the region. With CAD skills in demand across those industries, pursuing a career in CAD offers job security and well-paid opportunities.
