WHY PSYCHOLOGY?

Psychology is the scientific study of “ABC” (A = affect/emotions, B = behavior/actions, and C = cognition/thinking).

MCC offers Applied Psychology, which is intended for students who are earning a certificate. The General Psychology course is for those who seek an Associates Degree or wish to transfer to a university. We also offer courses in (ED-234) Educational Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Psychological Disorders of Childhood, Life Span Development and Social Psychology. Most courses are offered both online and at MCC’s main campus. General Psychology also is available at extension sites in Ottawa and Newaygo Counties.
