Student Clubs & Organizations
Muskegon Community College encourages its students to participate in a variety of organized clubs to gain experience in leadership and cooperative planning, and to take advantage of the opportunity for social interaction. Full-time faculty advisors oversee each club. Club members must be enrolled as MCC students.

The Muskegon Community College chapter is Sigma Zeta. As a nationally recognized Honor Society, we strive to confer a distinction of high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate studies; we provide cultural stimulation on campus which promotes an interest in literature and the English language, while fostering all aspects of the discipline of English, including literature, language, and writing. SKD displays exemplary character and good fellowship among all our members as we exhibit the highest standards of academic excellence and serve the community by fostering literacy. |

The group provides activities and events to promote awareness of the Latino/Hispanic culture. The group also partners with Muskegon Community College to host events on campus as well as in the community. The HSO welcomes all students who would like to join and participate. |

In the realm of professionalism development, we guide our members in shaping their roles and connect them with local, state, and regional nursing organizations, As a welcoming committee for those entering the MCC nursing program, our goal is to break down barriers to success and ensure everyone feels at home. Additionally, we provide a platform for the development of exciting work groups, covering everything from fundraising and graduation celebrations to community service opportunities. |
