Visit MCC’s Campus
Hundreds of prospective students like you visit Muskegon Community College’s campus each year. MCC is proud of our beautiful scenic location, and we would love to show you around!
We invite you to tour our college campus and its unique surroundings and familiarize yourself with various College department locations including Financial Aid, Counseling, and Student Life. Most importantly though, a campus visit will allow you to have your questions answered by our knowledgeable staff. Please visit the Campus Map and Directions page for directions to MCC’s campus. When you visit, you will know Muskegon Community College is your best choice!
Main Campus Tours
Campus tours are provided by MCC Admissions Representatives and work-study students. They are specially trained and highly knowledgeable of the college campus and the programs the college offers. Your tour generally takes about an hour. During the tour, we highlight major areas of the college but special requests can be made to allow for extra time if you wish to visit a specific area of interest such as Nursing or Respiratory Therapy. Campus tours are limited to 4 guests. We recommend making a reservation at least one week in advance. Tours are available throughout the year except for holidays or MCC breaks.

Take I-96 West to Muskegon
Directions: Take I-96 West to Muskegon, take exit 1-B and follow US-31 North. Take Apple Avenue exit — head east on Apple Avenue and continue to Quarterline Road. There is a traffic signal at Quarterline Road — turn left (north) on Quarterline. The next traffic signal is at Marquette Ave. Muskegon Community College is located on the northwest corner of Marquette Avenue and Quarterline Road. Both of the primary north and south parking lots can be reached from Quarterline Road. In addition, the south lot can be entered from Marquette Ave., and the north lot from Stebbins Road.
From the North or South: (while on US-31)
Directions: Take Apple Avenue exit. Exit east on Apple Avenue and continue to Quarterline Road. There is a traffic signal at Quarterline Road. Turn left (north) on Quarterline. The next traffic signal is at Marquette. Muskegon Community College is located on the northwest corner of Marquette Avenue and Quarterline Road. Directions: Take Business US-31 to downtown Muskegon to Fourth St. Turn southeast onto Fourth St. by the L.C Walker Arena sign and proceed two blocks to Clay Ave. The Sturrus Technology Center will be on your left. Park in the MCC visitor parking lot on your right at the intersection, or park on the street along the Sturrus Technology Center and Hackley Park

Take US-31 North
Directions: Take US-31 North to exit 118 to access M-120 toward Fremont. Turn right onto M-120 North. Go approximately 16 miles to M-82 East. Turn right onto M-82 at the four-way stop. Go approximately 4 miles to Main Street, Fremont. Go through Fremont and continue straight on West 48th Street out of Fremont for approximately 1 mile. NC RESA is on the left. Turn left onto Campus Dr. The MCC office is on the left.

Directions: Take US-31 South toward Grand Haven. After approximately 16 miles, turn right onto Lincoln Street. MCC at Ottawa Center is the second building on the right.

Directions: Take US-31 South approximately 25-30 miles. Turn left to access Port Sheldon Road. Turn right onto 136th Ave. Thompson M-TEC is on the left within the parking complex off 136th Avenue.

Directions: Take US-31 South to I-96 East. Take exit 16 to Coopersville. Turn right onto 68th Avenue. At the traffic circle, take the first exit to Randall St. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto East St. The Coopersville Community Services building is on the right.
