WHY WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT?

The purpose of wildlife management is to work toward finding a healthy balance between the needs of wildlife and the needs of people while utilizing the best available science. Among other things, wildlife management can include game keeping, wildlife conservation and pest control.  Drawing from disciplines such as mathematics, biology and other natural sciences, wildlife management provides individuals with opportunities to work in the field, as well as the laboratory.  MCC can provide you with the solid foundation you need for transfer to a 4-yr college when working toward a wildlife management related degree.
