WHY COMPUTER PROGRAMMING?

Employment in the field of computer programming is projected to grow about 8% between now and 2022.

In Michigan jobs like computer systems analysts, computer software engineers, computer systems administrators and computer information system managers are recognized the the State of Michigan’s top 50 hot careers (high-demand jobs with high pay) through 2018. The Muskegon Community College Computer Programming degrees, certificates and courses allow students a pathway to these types of careers.

Computer programmers write code to create software programs. They turn the program designs created by software developers and engineers into instructions that a computer can follow. With the advancement of mobile technology implementations the field of computer programming continues to evolve and provide exciting opportunities.
