MCC UPS THE ANTE WITH $50 GIFT CARDS AT BRING IT OUT BASH EVENTS

Tuesday, May 27, 2025

Muskegon Community College (MCC) is opening its doors to the public and inviting potential students to two more separate events dubbed the “Bring It Out Bash,” an informational open house party hosted by the College’s Admission’s Department. The family-friendly event welcomes all prospective students to explore what MCC has to offer with free food, tours, and prizes. In addition, the college announced Monday it has doubled down its efforts and will now be giving away grant funded, $50 gift cards for the first 100 participants aged 15 and older.

The one-stop-shop informational gathering will give high school students, adult learners, and first-generation college students, the opportunity to meet faculty and staff, discover MCC’s programs, services, and financial aid options — including free or discounted tuition.

“We want everyone to know there’s a place for them here,” said Muskegon Community College Director of Admissions Sarah Luker. “There’s a reason why MCC ranks as the number one, top pick in the region by students who are choosing where to go to college. We think they’re awesome — and we’re going to help them bring out their awesomeness.”

In March of 2025, Muskegon Community College launched its new marketing campaign and slogan, “Bring It Out,” reflecting the college’s unwavering commitment to helping students unlock their full potential.

“It’s about celebrating all the unique talents, skills, and dreams they bring to campus,” said MCC Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Kristin Tank. “Bring it Out means that MCC recognizes the inherent value and potential within every person who walks through our doors.”
