Free, Hands-on Trades Training Starts January 27

Muskegon Community College (MCC) is inviting the public to “Test Drive the Trades,” a free, two-week hands-on exploration of applied technology industries designed to prepare participants for careers in manufacturing. The program runs from January 27 through February 7, 2025, with training sessions held daily from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sturrus Technology Center in downtown Muskegon.
Participants will enjoy breakfast and lunch provided each day, as well as the opportunity to enhance their job readiness skills and build their resumes through project-based learning. Areas of focus include:
- Robotics
- CNC Machining
- Print Reading
- And much more!
