Muskegon Community College (MCC) proudly announces that its inaugural fundraising event, “An Evening with MCC,” held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, was a resounding success. The event celebrated the achievements of its distinguished alumni and raised substantial funds for the school in the process.

Kicking off at 5:30 PM in the unfinished Large Ensemble Room of the Art and Music Building at 221 S. Quarterline Road, the evening was filled with memorable moments. Attendees enjoyed a catered dinner and open bar provided by Bella Maria, live music, while the program featured speeches and inspiring alumni testimonials. The event peaked with paddle raises and a raffle offering prizes such as an autographed guitar, a FabLab membership, and a classic snurfer.

Participants and sponsors of “An Evening with MCC” played a pivotal role in supporting the Foundation for Muskegon Community College’s mission to build an educated and inclusive community through strong, collaborative relationships. The contributions gathered during the evening will help support MCC’s Jayhawk Hub, Experiential Learning opportunities, as well as supporting renovation efforts in the Art and Music Building.
