The Criminal Justice Pathway Associate in Science and Arts degree has been designed to allow students to transfer as Junior status to Criminal Justice bachelor’s degree programs at participating Michigan colleges or universities.

Criminal Justice Pathway (ASA) Degree Requirements

The MiTransfer Pathway Associate in Science and Arts (ASA) degree includes the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) and is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university and major in a particular discipline. A minimum of 62 credit hours with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA, is required for the ASA Degree. MCC and the Michigan Transfer Agreement require a “C” or better in individual courses used to meet ASA and MTA requirements.

These courses are shown in bold type below. Courses numbered below 100 do not count toward the ASA. Any course can be used only ONCE in any category. This program may be completed 100% online, however not all classes in the program may be offered in an online format. Please work closely with the MCC Counseling Office and/ or faculty members to select courses offered 100% online.

Elective credits will be comprised of additional classes and required class credits earned in the general education requirements.
