- Professional Experience: I’ve been teaching English and Communication classes for over 25 years, the last twelve full time here at MCC. I am long time member of MCC’s Distance Learning Committee, the Technology Council, and the Behavioral Intervention Team. I enjoy increasing students’ competency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to help them meet their personal and career goals.

- I am an avid reader, biker, and runner and love all that West Michigan has to offer.
- My husband and I have two children. Our son is a recent graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design who attended MCC and got his start in Graphic Design here. My daughter is a junior at GVSU. I believe MCC is a wonderful asset for our community and I’m proud to be a part of this institution.

Beth Dick returned to Muskegon Community College in August 2021 after serving as Director of Finance/Assistant County Administrator for the County of Muskegon since 2015. Previously, she served four years as the Director of Finance for MCC.
With extensive knowledge and experience, Dick has directed the preparation and administration of budgets for large organizations, strategically managed financial assets, and provided oversight of sound policies and operations. In her role, she provides financial leadership to the campus community, collaborates to accomplish strategic priorities, and supervises all accounting and financial services functions.

- Professional Experience: Over 30 years as an RN. During the first part of my nursing career, I worked in Pediatrics, Peds ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric Hematology & Oncology. I then moved on to education and taught health and nutrition to middle school students. After 7 years, I returned to the clinical setting full-time as a hospice nurse. I have worked at the bedside, as a clinical supervisor, and as a QA manager.
Upon obtaining my MSN in 2016, I shifted back to education full-time. I then obtained my DNP in 2019.
I have taught nursing on campus and online, at all degree levels. I have also developed courses for online MSN and DNP programs.As my DNP project included research on responding to human trafficking in the healthcare setting, I now travel throughout Michigan providing education on this topic. I also work with local service providers and the regional human trafficking task force to help support our community and to raise awareness about human trafficking. - Academic Degrees: Associate of Art in Nursing, Muskegon Community College, Bachelors of Science in Health Education, Western Michigan University; Masters in Nursing Education, Western Governors University, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Indiana Wesleyan University
