After spending twelve years in Charleston, SC, it was a joy to come back to West Michigan. I live in Grand Haven with my husband and two beautiful children. We spend most of our free time outside, near the water. My hobbies include: reading (of course), yoga, running, and hiking. I love historical fiction, memoirs, almost every kind of poetry, and movies based on true events. Some of the Books that Changed my Life:MY BACKGROUND
I enjoy sharing my love of language and literature on a daily basis with students. I revel in the challenge of reaching students through literature and hope to help each of them become deep thinkers and ultimately, better human beings.
I am the Editor of River Voices, Muskegon Community College’s literary magazine, and offer students the opportunity to work as Co-Editor(s) in an ENG101/ENG102 Honors Course(s). I am also one of the faculty advisors for Sigma Kappa Delta, the English Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges.MORE ABOUT ME
