University Park Golf Course is a public golf course owned by Muskegon Community College.   Established in the early 1970's  and located just across the street from MCC, it is a Bruce Matthews designed 9-hole course with two tee off areas which makes for an interesting and challenging 18-holes of golf.  UPGC is open from April until November, and sports its own driving range, putting green, golf pro, and golf shop.  There are numerous leagues that play at UPGC, catering to every caliber of player.  Whatever your skill level, there is a league that will fit your style.

Lessons

Golf classes are offered summer and fall for credit or audit through Muskegon Community College.  For registration, call 231-777-0250.  Private lessons for all ages and abilities can be arranged through the golf course.  Call CD at 231-773-0023

If you need anything from a new golf glove to custom golf clubs, The Muskegon Golf Outfitters at University Park Golf Course is your one stop shopping place.  Conveniently located inside the clubhouse, it is open six days a week from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

April 2006, Beth Smith and staff took over the management of University Park Golf Course.  Many changes have been made to upgrade the course and improve the playing conditions.  We are sure your group will be pleased with what we have done.

• We have a 9-hole course with three (3) tee off areas which makes for an interesting and challenging 18-holes of golf.
• We can handle up to 40 people (10 foursomes with carts).
• We offer limited food service and cold Coke products in the clubhouse.
• We have a picnic area if you desire to cater your outing.
• We would require a minimum of 30 people in order to close the course for your event.
