Beth received a BA and MA from Central Michigan University. She has been employed by Muskegon Community College since 1975 and has served as the department chair since 1978. Beth teaches in all three disciplines: Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Over the years she has made many instrumental changes to the Physical Education Program to make it one of the most respected in the country. Her resume also includes being a MHSAA certified official for over 20 years, reaching the state finals in volleyball. She has coached the women’s volleyball team and has been a timer at the wresting matches.

Dan received a BA and MS from Grand Valley State University. He has been employed by Muskegon Community College since 2002.  Dan teaches in all three disciplines: Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Dan taught full time at Michigan Tech University and Grand Valley State University before arriving at Muskegon Community College.  His resume also includes being a MHSAA certified official for over 20 years, reaching the state finals in both basketball and baseball.

Dan and his wife, Christine, have five children Kellsie, Allison, Isaac and identical twin girls Kadee and Kylee.
