Information Technology Council

Meeting: Council meets first Wednesday of every month at 1:30 p.m. in President Conference Room

Purpose:

The purpose of this council is to assist the college with strategic management decisions regarding information technology and to set the direction and priority of projects in a timely manner.

Functions:

This council will focus on both instructional and administrative functions as it makes recommendations to the Coordinating Council regarding the following:

·        Review and recommend Information technology policies and procedures

·        Review and recommend software and hardware standards

·        Review communication regarding college electronic resource policies and procedures

·        Review and address Technology issues that affect the college as a whole

·        Review technology tactical plan on yearly basis

·        Address concerns related to the services provided by the Office of Information Technology

·        Provide ongoing oversight and recommendations pertaining to the OIT Master Plan
