Muskegon Community College Application Policy

Adjunct Instructors: Effective April 1, 2007, Muskegon Community College will accept all applications for Adjunct Employment. The Human Resources Office will create and maintain a database and retain applications for up to three years. If an applicant remains interested in adjunct teaching opportunities beyond the three-year period, the applicant may express that interest by sending an updated cover letter and resume to the Human Resources Office.

Full-Time Administrative, Professional and Support Staff, Faculty, Clerical and Custodial/Maintenance: Muskegon Community College will only accept Applications in response to a posted position. The College will return or dispose all unsolicited applications, resumes and cover letters.
 
Applications submitted in response to a posting, prior to the posting deadline, will be reviewed until the position is filled. The College will keep application materials on file in the Human Resources Office for up to one year after filling the position or one year after the date of posting. All application materials submitted in reference to a posted position becomes the property of the College and those materials will not be returned.
