Course Credit Acceptance

Credits for courses completed at Muskegon Community College or other post-secondary educational institutions will be accepted toward fulfillment of the nursing (PN and A.A.S.) curriculum requirements provided that all of the following criteria are met:

1. The courses are deemed equivalent to the courses required in the nursing curriculum.
2. The courses were completed with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
3. The courses were completed within eight years prior to ready date.

Official transcripts, from institutions other than Muskegon Community College, should be sent to the Records Auditor for credit evaluation. (Room 104, 777-0204).

Eight Year Time Limit

If testing/coursework is over eight years old, competency must be validated on established examinations or by repeating the courses.
