Transcripts - Office of the Registrar

As of July 1, 2008, there is no longer a charge for official transcripts.

Transcripts are available from the Student Services Center in two forms:

Unofficial transcripts are for students who wish to see which classes they have taken, their cumulative grade point average (GPA), how many credits have been earned, etc. Unofficial transcripts may be printed online using WebAdvisor .

Official transcripts are issued DIRECTLY to an institution or place of business with the official college seal and registrar's signature. They are used for college or university transfers, job applications, scholarships, etc. Official Transcripts are issued only after students have fulfilled all financial obligations to the College. If a transcript request is for pick up or mailed directly to the student, it will be unofficial.

To request an official transcript, please use one of the following methods:

ON CAMPUS -- Transcript Request Forms are available in the Student Services Center in Student Union.
BY MAIL -- Send the completed Transcript Request Form to: Muskegon Community College, TRANSCRIPT Office, 221 S. Quarterline Road, Muskegon, MI 49442.
BY FAX -- You can FAX your completed Transcript Request Form to 231.777.0209.

Please remember to sign and date your request. Your signature is required before we can release your transcript

Transcript requests are normally processed within two or three days, but may require more time to process at the prior to or at the end of a semester.
