Enrollment Checklist

We're glad you're here.  It's time to get started.

Step One: Complete an application for admission, this may be done online. You can also call 231.777.0366 to have an application mailed to your home, or, stop by Room 108 on campus. By visiting MCC's campus, you can complete your application and receive your Student Number in one visit. The Enrollment Service Center is open weekdays at 8:00 A.M. and closes Monday & Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. and Wednesday thru Friday at 4:30 P.M.

Step Two: Call the Testing Center (231.777.0394) to determine if you need to take Placement Tests, and if necessary, make an appointment to take your test(s). MCC's Testing Policy has been developed primarily to help you select courses that are matched to your abilities. You should receive your test results before leaving the Testing Center.

Step Three: After receiving your test scores call the Counseling Office at 231.777.0362 to make an appointment with a counselor. At this time you will select the course(s) you wish to register for and determine the day and time for you to register on web advisor. 

Step Four: Attend New Student Orientation/Piece Of The Pie - offered throughout the year - Please call Darlene at 231.777.0366 for time and dates.

If you need to apply for Financial Aid, remember to file your FAFSA application early so that funds are available for you when tuition is due. Call 231.773.9131 to request information and deadlines. 

The STUDENT LIFE office is open for you to explore employment trends, help you discover your interest and abilities, and generally assist in developing a personalized education plan.  Call 231 777-0216 for an appointment or stop by room 103 on campus. All services provided by MCC's Student Life are free of charge to the public.
