Your Responsibilities While Receiving Benefits

Contact the Veterans Office before repeating classes.

If you withdraw officially or unofficially from any class(es), you MUST report the last date of attendance to the Veterans Office. If this is not done, MCC will report the last date of attendance of that class(es) as the first date of attendance of that class(es). Over-payment conditions could be created.

|
Maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average.
|

|
Request copies of transcripts from all previously attended institutions. These should be sent to MCC's Records Office to the attention of the Records Transcript Auditor for evaluation.

|
Submit a copy of your DD214 to the Records Office for evaluation of credit by the college's auditor. By following this step you will be granted one physical edcuation credit and one health credit.

|
Report changes of your program to the Veterans Office at Muskegon Community College.
|

|
Notify the Records Auditor prior to your final semester of enrollment that you plan to graduate. Also, contact the Veterans Office before enrolling for additional (post graduate) courses.

FALL, WINTER (15 Week Courses) and SUMMER SEMESTER (12 Week Courses)

FULL TIME - 12 or more credit hours EACH SEMESTER

3/4 TIME - 9 to 11-1/2 credit hours EACH SEMESTER

1/2 TIME - 6 to 8-1/2 credit hours EACH SEMESTER

1/4 TIME - 3 to 5-1/2 credit hours EACH SEMESTER
