1.      What is WebAdvisor?

WebAdvisor is a Web interface that allows you to access your personal information contained in the administrative database used by Muskegon Community College. The application system that creates this database, Colleague, is the product of Datatel Inc. WebAdvisor consists of the forms and supporting infrastructure to extract and deliver information from this database to your deskstop browser. You will need a Username and Password to access WebAdvisor. This username and password provides you access to your MCC email, the campus network, your SFTP folder, campus lab/library computers, and WebAdvisor. If you have applied for admissions to the College, your Student account will be automatically set up within 24 hours of when your application is processed.

The Username and Password is different depending on if you are a student, faculty, or staff. If you do not know your Username or Password, please click on What’s My Username or What’s My Password. These are also available on the WebAdvisor page. (back to top)

WebAdvisor is set up to allow access for any student the day after the student is admitted or added to the database. However, students who have not taken classes in the past five years must submit a Readmit Form (available by clicking on the link or visiting Enrollment Services) to establish your Username and Password. PLEASE NOTE: Once you are notified of an available position in a course, you will have 2 days to respond – including weekends. Example: If you are notified on Friday, you MUST take action within 2 days (by Saturday at 11:59 p.m.) If you wait until Monday, the position will no longer be available.
