New Student Orientation/Piece Of The Pie!

The faculty and staff at Muskegon Community College would like to welcome and invite you to "New Student Orientation/ Piece Of The Pie!"

Learning what to do before you need to do it, and how to get help before you need it, can make your transition into college life the stress-free time you've envisioned. Attending a "New Student Orientation" session at MCC will equip you with the tools you need to succeed!

Have you considered...

  • What you will do if you need help in a class? Where can you find a tutor? Will it cost you anything?
  • Could you be eligible for financial aid to help with college? Do you know how to find out?
  • Do you need a parking sticker to park in MCC's lots?
  • How much does dropping a class midterm affect your financial aid eligibility? (The answer may surprise you.)
  • What do you need to do before you can enroll in classes? Once you're enrolled, how do you go about getting your books and materials?
  • How and when do I apply for financial aid?
  • What's the difference between grants, loans, scholarships and work study?
  • What types of information do I need to apply for financial aid?

Learn the answers to these important questions and more at New Student Orientation/Piece Of The Pie. We offer many sessions through out the year on days and times that make attending easy.
