Online Classes:  What will it be like to take online Precalc Algebra?  I will use a mix of streaming media Mini-Lessons, concept activities with discussion board responses, and a homework management system called WebAssign.  Our learning management system will be Blackboard, with integrated WebAssign.  A variety of materials are available for help on online homework problems, including videos and online tutoring.

Technical requirements for Online Precalc Algebra: You will need to have a way to submit handwritten work, approximately two problems per section.  You can do this with a digital pen, a scanner, or a camera.  Submission of handwritten work needs to be a specific file format and size - TBA at the beginning of the class.  You will need to learn to convert the images to this filetype for assignment submission.  WARNING: Online courses are really intended for students with high-speed internet access.  You can use campus computers for high-speed internet access if you do not have it at home.
