MCC Launches Pharmacy Tech Program--Partnering with Fremont High School

Muskegon Community College is offering a 120-hour Pharmacy Technician Program in Fremont starting Tuesday, 13 October 2009. Partnering with Fremont High School and the Michigan Works! West Central office, this comprehensive program is designed to prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCP) exam.

Classes will be held in the Quest Educational Programs building on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., as well as some Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   The Quest facility is located at 350 W. Cedar Street in Fremont. Classes will begin 13 October 2009 and end 14 January 2010. (Classes are not scheduled on or adjacent to holidays.) The cost to participate in the Pharmacy Technician Program is $2,199 which includes textbooks.
