Below is the latest time line for Marquette Road Construction. Please be aware that this construction will impact your route to Muskegon Community College.

You are requested NOT to drive through ROAD CLOSED barricades. Tickets have been and will continue to be issued for this violation. Tickets written for driving through a construction area are 2 points, and if it is a working project the ticket could be written for 3 points. These tickets have been issued for this infraction at the Harvey/Marquette intersection.

Below is the latest time line for Marquette Road Construction. Please be aware that this construction will continue to impact your route to Muskegon Community College.

As of 9/28/09:
The detour closes Marquette from Quarterline to Harvey including the intersection of Marquette and Harvey. This includes the US 31 bridge.

Marquette between Quarterline and the Harvey intersection is closed.

North/South traffic on Quarterline is open at Marquette. The traffic light is flashing red all four directions. STOP at the red flashing light. Tickets are being written.

Access is from APPLE AVE or LAKETON AVE.

Access to the University Park Golf Course is from the Quarterline/Marquette intersection. Lost? Call 773-0023.

Access to the MCC main parking lots will be via Quarterline Road only.

Access to the MCC North parking lots will be via Quarterline Road or Stebbins.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

Monday 11/9/09 – East bound Marquette traffic at Quarterline will be open.

Monday 11/30/09 – West bound Marquette traffic at Quarterline will be open, including the Harvey/Marquette intersection.
